Finding ourselves without a label in 2000 after the demise of
Creation Records we swiftly bought the master tapes of our recently
completed MWNG album (home of the featured tracks). Wary of how
a larger label might try and market a Welsh language album (free
celtic mist and stick-on beard with every purchase, red dragon car
stickers, rugby-ball shaped cd’s etc) we set about releasing
it ourselves with hardly any marketing budget. Imagine our surprise
when it narrowly missed the top ten! The ‘Mwng Millions’
now help us release records by others as part of the SFA care in
the community project.
