Pyscho VII

This song (‘Just Another Fun Love Song’) was the reason we formed the label back in the 98th year of the last century. Formed by 2 pivotal figures of the Welsh-language punk scene; guitarist Rhodri Puw, (previously a member of the seminal Ffa Coffi Pawb), and singer Dic Ben, (explosive drummer in the legendary Elfyn Presli A’r Massey Furgesons), conspired to write this brooding orchestral masterpiece, hiring members of Big Leaves as musicians and SFA as re-mixers. Released abruptly to an indifferent public, Pyscho VII, (named after an imaginary soccer team of mass murderers), further rubbed powdered glass into the gash of their career by not turning up for promotional opportunities kindly arranged by Caffy of Hall or Nothing and quickly imploded after only 2 live dates. Rhodri joined Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci and Dic Ben returned to his mountain retreat with a pile of Gene Pitney and country records to plot the future return of the Magnificent VII. We lost the master tape, so this track is remastered from the original vinyl.
